About
Paris History Tours is a one-person studio — slow research, small groups, and a long obsession with the stories Paris keeps in its streets.
The guide
Clement Daguet-Schott is a Paris-based history enthusiast and independent walking tour guide. His passion for history led him to spend months conducting extensive research across 20+ books, including historical texts, personal memoirs, and academic sources, to build tours that are both historically rigorous and deeply engaging.
Each tour stop is chosen not just for its historical significance but for the untold stories connected to it — from Rose Valland's secret mission to track Nazi art theft, to Ernest Hemingway's role in the Liberation, to the student resistance networks at the Sorbonne.
Since founding Paris History Tours in 2024, Clement has guided hundreds of visitors from over 25 countries, maintaining a 4.9/5 rating on Google Maps. The tours are available in both English and French, as private experiences or small group sessions of up to 10 participants.
